Yessss! I have a recipe for Thai Diner's thai disco fries in the Eater cookbook! We used frozen crinkles -- and recommend air frying if you've got it for extra crispiness!
I don't always have fries on hand... but I do have tots... why have I never thought to do thai disco tots?!?
I have absolutely done it with tots! (See the dek!) The non-crinkle are best for baking; the crinkles don’t heat up evenly because they don’t sit flat on the baking sheet.
